How does AstroMate work?

I need help, nothing works and the registration is just not working for me.

How do I sign up?

Click on the Admin button (administration) in the Main Menu (top of this page) and there will be a hot spot for you to sign up as a member. Furthermore, you can also read the topic "I Want To Sign Up" in this section---Click on Back to Top and you will find this topic.

I am already a AstroAdvice member, why is it that I cannot get in?

AstroMate requires all AstroAdvice members to re-register again. In the registration, there will be a prompt for AstroAdvice members to avoid re-defining the birth data

I am not verified, why?

I did put in the string VERIFICATION: followed by the assigned verification number as per the instruction sent to me, why is it that I always got a return mail that the verification failed.

The email address that you registered is very likely the wrong one. If you email the webmaster at support@astromate.com and state that you had already followed the instructions to verify the email, but failed; the webmaster will check the registered email address and email the required information to you. Subsequently, you should be able to successfully verify the emailing. Please ensure that your full registered name and/or user name (handle) are also included in your email.

How do I email someone anonymously?

There are 2 ways:

1. You can use the Browse to seek a member if you know his/her handle. In the edit box where you define the member to search, enter his/her user name (handle). AstroMate will check if your entered user name and any similar user name are registered in the database (if you are not sure what handle you are looking for, just define the first few characters of the handle). The searched user names are then listed. You can then click on any of the listed handles to invoke the profile description of the member. At the lower left corner of the profile box, there is always a hot spot [Email: user handle] where an email facility will pop up once you click on it.

2. Use your standard email program and address the email to Astro.user handle@AstroMate.com; for example if one wants to write an email to a member by the user name (handle): complex, the address will be Astro.complex@AstroMate.com

I would prefer to pay the membership by checks, money order or bank draft?

You can now do it by clicking the Admin button and purchase your membership. Select the check, money order or bank draft payment scheme instead of the secure credit card transaction. Ensure that you send in the check, money order or bank draft with the printed form of your registered name, address and user name. You should send the check to:

Is the credit card transaction safe?

The credit card payment scheme offers secure transaction on the Internet. If there is any failure in the transaction, nothing will be charged to the bearer of the card.

I have billing problems, whom should I contact?

You can contact either the webmaster or our billing staff, they can be reached at support@AstroMate.com or billing@AstroMate.com respectively.

What is the difference between Browse and Match?

The Browse is to enable our members to review members by Searching for those who have user names similar to the defined one (3 characters minimum) in the Search edit box. Furthermore, Browse enables our members to select those members who meet the defined criteria of Ethnicity, Age, Gender...etc. No astrological criteria is included in the selection process.

The Match button is similar to Browse, but after AstroMate has selected those who meet the user defined criteria, astrological analysis is performed on each of those selected members to ensure the best compatibility based on classical western astrology theory. The best matched are listed in the order of compatibility. Members may also find that there is a Love Thermometer indicating the level of compatibility to indicate why the best fitting members are listed in a particular order.

AstroAdvice is a companion site of AstroMate. Developed by AstroServices Inc., www.AstroAdvice.com is the only online personalized astrological analysis site where one can obtain a complete:
